The aim of the "Calier Beekeeping Photo Awards" is to showcase the size, work and professionalism of the beekeeping industry across Europe. A further aim is to demonstrate Calier's commitment to highlighting the role of bees in conserving the natural environment, pollinating crops and maintaining biodiversity.

After more than 10 years, the "Calier Beekeeping" photo competition awards have become a key event in the beekeeping industry in Iberia.

Calier and its commitment to beekeeping

New this year, the "Calier Beekeeping Photo Awards" are taking things a step further and becoming a charitable initiative.

That is why, for this edition, Calier is collaborating with the Friends of the Bees Foundation by donating €3 for every photograph received. The donation will go towards awareness-raising projects to highlight the importance of pollinating insects in the development and conservation of the ecosystem.

Taking part not only raises the profile of beekeeping, but also directly helps its future.

Deadlines and Exhibition

The deadline for submitting photographs is from 1 May to 30 September of the current year. The jury’s decision will be announced on 1 December via our website. Winners will also be notified directly.

The winning photographs and others from the entries are exhibited each year at the Pastrana International Beekeeping Fair (Guadalajara), one of the most important events in the beekeeping sector in Spain.
